Evaluation of welding exams
Normec QS has been recognised by Synergrid as a test laboratory for PE welding.
Since April, Normec QS has been included in Synergrid’s list of recognised test labs for the Belgian market. This means that we are officially allowed to evaluate the welding tests that PE welders are required to take during their exams in our laboratory.

PE welders who carry out work on PE (polyethylene) pipes in, among others, the natural gas network must qualify annually by passing both a theoretical and practical test. The welding joint they make as part of this examination is evaluated by a test laboratory recognised by Synergrid.
