Complaints procedure

Normec QS employees are committed to providing you with the best possible service. If you believe that the service is inadequate or incorrect, you may complain to Normec QS in writing, for example at the e-mail address


After submitting your complaint or appeal, you will be notified within 5 working days whether it relates to activities for which Normec QS is responsible. If so, it will then be handled by independent persons. If these persons can only be found outside Normec QS, Normec QS remains responsible for the settlement. You will be informed of the progress of your complaint within 4 weeks. This may be a final outcome or a follow-up process. You will always be informed about the final outcome. The entire complaint process is recorded by Normec QS.


Normec QS is an independent certification body and is committed to acting absolutely impartially. It likes to enable stakeholders and interested parties to give their opinion “solicited and unsolicited” regarding its impartiality. “Asked” this takes place through an annually active approach to interested parties. “Unsolicited” you can contact via the complaints link on this website. Through this channel, you can also request additional information regarding our impartiality and its guarantee. We will then contact you and inform you of the procedure we will follow. If, after our treatment and feedback, you still have doubts about the impartiality of Normec QS, you are entitled to make this known to the RvA.
